It has been brought to the attention of Unicare Ltd, that charity bags bearing both our company name and logo and Coping with Cancer North East (CWCNE) charity are circulating across the UK. Unicare, does not distribute these charity bags, neither in the North East or elsewhere in England. This activity is neither approved nor authorised by Unicare Ltd. As such, CWCNE will not benefit from any funds raised by the collection of these bags. Unicare is deeply concerned that this unlawful activity is taking place. We are taking legal advice in relation to our position but, in the meantime we would encourage anyone receiving these charity bags to report this unlawful activity to their local Trading standards officer and/or the Police.
