Following the government’s decision declaring a third lockdown Unicare immediately stopped their charity bag clothing collection service. This was to ensure the safety of members of the public as well as our team members; this also gave us time to look into the legislation and how we can ensure we can continue to work in a safe way.

Unicare will resume their charity bag clothing collection service for their charity partner’s Yorkshire Children’s Trust and Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance from today (Thursday 14 Jan) with pick-ups starting on Monday 18 Jan. Unicare’s distribution and collection team members will continue to wear PPE and will have no interaction with members of the public.

If you wish to support us with your donations, please leave any bags of clothing at the edge of your property, where possible, on the marked collection day, indicated on the plastic envelope.

Unicare totally understands and accept that not everyone will be happy with this decision and not everyone will want to receive one of our collection bags. We offer a no-quibble ‘ NO CALL list’, please contact us either by email: support@unicaremail.co.uk or call 0333 66 66 777 with the first line of your address including the postcode and you will be removed from the distribution maps.

Unicare can also arrange a one-off special collection, should you have 10 or more bags of clothing ready to collect. Please contact us (email or telephone) for more details.

Take care, stay safe and thank you for your support.
Best wishes,
Unicare Team.
