Altofts FC net sponsorship from Unicare Ltd

Unicare Ltd was approached by Altofts FC to sponsor their annual ever popular bonfire event. As the club are currently seeking ways to for new facilities, Unicare Ltd felt this was an opportunity not to be missed.

Unicare Ltd is a textile recycling company, established in 2006. They are dedicated to help raise money for charities and organisations alike through the various textile recycling schemes they operate. The projects vary from door to door collections to Cash for Clothes to perhaps the most effective projects for institutes like Altofts FC, EcoKids.

EcoKids is a textile recycling project designed to help schools, sports clubs and other youth organisations raise much needed funds. Everything from registration to collection is completely free! The project works by encouraging children and parents to have a clear out to fill as may bags as they can with textiles, books and bric a bric. On the pre arranged date, EcoKids come and collect all the bags and the organisation will earn money for every kg they collect! The tariff paid is significantly better than similar projects out there, with Ecokids paying £550 per tonne (55p per kilo) if register for one collection per year and a whopping £600 per tonne (60p per kilo) if register for 2 or more collections per year. The bags that a filled, the more money is raised! It’s as easy as A, B, C!

Through Ecokids or any other of the schemes they operate Unicare Ltd hope to be able to help Altofts FC raise these much needed funds to gain the new facilities they so desperately need.
